Metal-clad switchgear encloses the circuit breaker, busbars, current transformers and cable compartment in earthed metal partitions. Each compartment is segregated so that an arc or a fault in one does not spread to the others.
Our cubicles are built to IEC 62271-200 with the five-proof interlocking scheme: the breaker cannot be racked in or out unless the earthing switch is closed and the door is shut.
